Forum >> Kitesurfing >> Duotone Evo Dlab or SLS?
  jim - Thu, 20 Jul 2023, 09:14
I am travelling for the next 2 years or so and subsequently want the lightest kites I can get hold of, so the Duotone EVO DLAB really appeals, but and there are several buts. As well as the price being a bit crazy and long term durability still unknown. The weight saving does not appear to live up to the marketing. The 9m is 2.32Kg as opposed to the standard EVO which is 2.76Kg which is a 16% weight saving. The best weight saving I can find is on the 13m 2.81Kg instead of 3.53Kg just over a 20%, but nowhere near the 30% claim and that's not the size of kite I want anyway... My main issue is I simply do not like the colours which seem very bland for the top of the range offering!!!
