Location Services

Safety first! The location services section has been set up to put kitesurfers in touch with one another either to buy/sell equipment or arrange meetups to go kitesurfing. Whilst most of us are genuine people, please be cautious as this is the internet after all. We accept no responsibility as a consequence of this service and recommend that you:

Why add your location?

Adding a location allows you to see what is happening near a specified place and advertise/search for equipment and services.

You must add a location to advertise equipment or services.

Do I have to add my actual location?

No: You can set your location to a place that you are intending to visit and want to find out more about a particular kite spot.

Items for sale

This service has been set up to allow users to sell/purchase old and unused kit from each other. We accept no responsibility by virtue of offering this service and recommend personally meeting in a public place to inspect any item before making a purchase.

Sellers must first add their location (see above). This is so that people can search for items close to them and not on the other side of the planet!

Buyers should only search for items nearby that they are able to inspect before purchasing.

Items will appear on other pages relevant to your geographical location such as spot guides, forums and other nearby users pages.

The service is free to use for individuals. It is not intended for businesses.

You can add up to 8 images at the same time. you need to be able to select them all at the same time from one folder.

How long will my advert last?

Currently the code has not been written to set a time limit, so please delete your advert when it is no longer relevant. At a later point adverts will automatically be deleted after 1 month if not renewed.
